Bomdila & Dirang Tour — 4 Days / 3 Nights Overview
This 4 day trip is a gentle introduction to Arunachal Pradesh for travellers who do not have a week. You cross from Assam at Bhalukpong, visit the Tipi Orchid Sanctuary and climb to Bomdila and Dirang, two quiet hill towns in West Kameng with monasteries, hot springs and apple orchards.
The roads are mountain roads, so each day has 4 to 6 hours of driving. Indian visitors need an Inner Line Permit for Arunachal Pradesh, which we arrange before departure using your ID details. March to May and October to November are the best months.

Day-by-Day Itinerary (4 Days)
Meet our driver at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and drive to Bhalukpong on the Assam Arunachal border. Check in and rest by the Kameng River. Overnight in Bhalukpong.
Visit the Tipi Orchid Sanctuary, then drive up to Bomdila. Visit the Bomdila viewpoint and market in the evening. Overnight in Bomdila.
After breakfast visit Bomdila Monastery, then drive to Dirang. See Dirang Dzong, the hot springs and the orchards. Overnight in Dirang or Bomdila.
After breakfast check out and drive back to Guwahati. Drop at the Airport or Railway Station in the evening. Keep onward travel after 9 pm.
