This 4 day tour is based in Gangtok and covers the best known sights: Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir at high altitude, Rumtek Monastery, Enchey Monastery and the MG Marg market street. It suits first time visitors and short breaks.
The tour starts at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri (NJP) station, about 4 to 5 hours from Gangtok. Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir need a permit, which we arrange. Nathu La can be added on request on open days. March to May and October to December are the best months.

Day-by-Day Itinerary (4 Days)
Meet our driver at Bagdogra Airport or NJP station and drive to Gangtok along the Teesta valley, about 4 to 5 hours. Check in and walk along MG Marg in the evening. Overnight in Gangtok.
After breakfast drive to Tsomgo Lake at about 12,400 feet and on to Baba Mandir. Return to Gangtok in the afternoon. Overnight in Gangtok.
Visit Enchey Monastery, Tashi Viewpoint, Hanuman Tok and Rumtek Monastery. Free evening for shopping. Overnight in Gangtok.
After breakfast check out and drive to Bagdogra Airport or NJP station for your onward journey.
